Built 1986 by Branco of Neosho to replace the 1874 jail. Warren and Goodin Architects.

Began as 24 beds but was expanded to 52 over the years by moving sheriff’s offices out.

It replaced the 1874 jail, which also was 24 beds, but the county could only use 15 due to condition.

Sheriff Dave Tatum (1981-1996)
Sheriff Doug Seneker (1997-2004)
Sheriff Ed Weisacosky (2005-2008)
Sheriff Brad DeLay (2008-Present)
